City of Paducah recognizes National Police Week, Peace Officers Memorial Day

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Paducah Mayor George Bray presented a proclamation during Tuesday night’s City Commission meeting recognizing May 10-16 as National Police Week and May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day.
The proclamation was presented to Paducah Police Chief Brian Laird and officers of the Paducah Police Department.
The department thanked the City of Paducah and community members for their continued support, saying the encouragement is appreciated by officers and their families as they serve the community.
