Zonta race event set for June 13 at Arena Park

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau Foundation will host its annual 5K, 10K and 1-mile fun run June 13 at Arena Park.

Organizers said the event will again be part of the Cape Road Runners Grand Prix, drawing both competitive runners and community participants.

The race includes a 10K, 5K run/walk and a 1-mile event for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

Proceeds will support the foundation’s efforts to provide programs and services that benefit women and girls.

Race-day registration is scheduled from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at the Arena Park 4-H Building. The 10K will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 5K and 1-mile events at 8 a.m.
