School closings for Friday, January 19

(KBSI) – Several schools are closed Friday, Jan. 19 due to lingering ice and snow on the roads.

Missouri

  • Doniphan R-I School District
  • Naylor R-2 School District
  • Neelyville R-IV Schools
  • South Pemiscot Schools
  • Twin Rivers R-X (Friday’s Homecoming game and festivities is rescheduled for Saturday, January 27. The JV game will start at 4 p.m. Homecoming court and crowning of the queen will take place after the JV game followed by the varsity game. The Homecoming dance will take place after the varsity game.

Illinois

  • Johnson County Schools
  • Metropolis Head Start (S7HD)
  • Vienna Heat Start (S7HD)

Kentucky

  • McCracken County Schools
  • Murray State University – All classes will be conducted remotely in a manner your faculty member chooses at the regularly scheduled times for the entire day.
  • West Kentucky Communith and Technical College will operate on a delayed schedule. Campus offices will open at 10 a.m.

Tennessee

  • Dyersburg State Community College – Classes and officer will operate remotely on Zoom on Friday, Jan. 19.
  • Obion County Schools
  • Lake County Schools
  • Union City Schools
  • University of Tennessee at Martin – The main campus and five centers will be closed Friday, Jan. 19.
