15 year old charged with armed robbery

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A juvenile is in custody after robbing a person at gunpoint.
According to the Paducah Police Department on the evening, of December 15, 2024 the Paducah Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Hendricks Street for the report of an armed robbery.
A woman told police she had agreed to meet an unknown person to purchase a video game system through Facebook Marketplace.
The juvenile approached her vehicle with the item, but as she handed him the money, he pointed a handgun at her. He then took the money
and ran away.
Officer Benjamin Anthony and his K9 partner, Bary, responded to the scene. K9 Bary led officers to the area of Ella Street. Detectives also responded to
investigate and were able to identify the suspect.
A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
The juvenile faces a charge of 1st degree robbery.
