High water impacts roads in Western Kentucky

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — High water is affecting several roads in western Kentucky, with some roads closed due to flooding.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is urging drivers to exercise caution and to turn around if they encounter high water.
Here is a list of roads impacted by high water in KYTC District 1:
— Carlisle County: U.S. 62 is closed due to high water between the 3- and 4-mile markers near the West Fork Creek Bottoms.
— Fulton County: KY 94 (Lower Bottoms) is closed due to high water between the 9.1- and 10.9-mile markers.
— Graves County: KY 1283 is open between the 2.9 and 3.2 mile markers from Frazier Road to KY 58.
— Hickman County:
– U.S. 51 S is open with high water between the 4 and 5 mile markers.
– KY 780 is closed due to high water between the 2 and 3 mile markers.
– KY 1283 is closed due to high water between the 1 and 2 mile markers near the Hickman-Graves County line.
– KY 1529 is closed due to high water between the 3 and 4 mile markers.
– KY 123 is closed due to high water between the 14-16 mile markers in the Hailwell Corner area.
— Lyon County:
– KY 293 is open with high water at the 1.2 mile marker in the Glass Creek area.
– KY 1943 is closed due to high water between the 3 and 4 mile markers near Skinframe Creek Bridge.
— Marshall County: KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Road is closed due to high water between the 0 and 1.2 mile markers.
— McCracken County:
– KY 1255/Bonds Road is closed due to high water between the 0.0 mile marker at KY 348/Hardmoney Road and the 2.3 mile marker at KY 450/Oaks.
– KY 339/Clinton Road is closed due to high water between the 0 and 2 mile markers in the Melber community at the McCracken-Graves County line.
