Man arrested in Mayfield for theft, trespassing

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — A 66-year-old Tennessee man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing items from a local business.

James Plunk of Palmersville, Tennessee, was taken into custody on North 12th Street after the business owner discovered him with stolen property.

The items were returned to the owner, and Plunk was charged with theft by unlawful taking and third-degree criminal trespassing.

The investigation is ongoing, as authorities suspect additional property may be missing. Plunk was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center.
