Citizens Academy gets inside look at Paducah police operations

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The Paducah Police Department hosted a session of the City of Paducah’s Citizens’ Academy this week, offering participants a behind-the-scenes look at police operations.

The session included a Q&A with Chief Brian Laird, a K9 demonstration, scenario-based training with a use-of-force simulator and a tour of the 911 Communications Center.
