Deputy stops vehicle, leads to arrest and charges for stolen firearm from Indiana

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop by Deputy Caleb Cope with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on August 8 led to the arrest of Dijalen Dryden, 22, of Louisville, Kentucky.

The stop, conducted around 11:15 p.m., was initiated due to a traffic violation. Upon searching the gray 2016 Mercury sedan, Deputy Cope and Deputy Prusaczyk discovered a stolen firearm reported missing from Indiana earlier that morning, as well as approximately 25 grams of marijuana.
