BLOOMFIELD, Mo., (KBSI) — The Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library will host a murder mystery fundraiser next month, offering an interactive experience inspired by wartime history.

The event, titled “Some Secrets Survive War,” is scheduled for May 1 and May 2 at the museum in Bloomfield. Organizers said the experience will place participants in a 1940s noir setting centered on a storyline tied to events from World War I.

The immersive program follows a fictional case involving espionage and a suspicious death, with attendees tasked with uncovering the truth.

Officials said the fundraiser is designed to engage the community while supporting the museum’s mission to preserve the history of the Stars and Stripes newspaper.

The event will be held at 17377 Stars and Stripes Way, with tickets priced at $60 per person or $500 for a table of eight. Seating is limited.

Proceeds will support the museum’s programs and preservation efforts.

Tickets are available online or by contacting the museum directly.
