CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Several road projects across Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri are expected to impact traffic in the coming days and weeks.

In Marshall County, Kentucky, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of Kentucky 1897, also known as Olive Hamlet Road, between Dogtown Road and Abraham Road from April 27-29 for a pipe replacement project.

The roadway will be closed daily from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will reopen each afternoon before closing again the following morning, weather permitting.

In Illinois, the Department of Transportation announced all eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 over the Wabash River near Grayville, at the Illinois-Indiana state line, will close beginning at 7 p.m.

Monday, April 27, for a routine bridge inspection and minor maintenance. If weather conditions prevent the work, it will be rescheduled for April 28.

In Missouri, Route 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane with a 13-foot width restriction as crew’s complete pavement repairs.

The work zone will extend from Route 34 to Front Street in Greenville. Construction is scheduled from May 4 through May 15, with work taking place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
