One killed, one injured in McCracken County crash

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash early Friday in McCracken County, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched around 5:25 a.m. to the 9800 block of Blandville Road.

Investigators said Christopher Martin, 47, of Kevil, was driving a 2013 Jeep Cherokee eastbound, while Kameron Bristoe, 35, of Paducah, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Impala westbound. The vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lane.

Martin was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to an out-of-state facility with serious injuries.

Bristoe was pronounced dead at the scene by McCracken County Coroner Amanda Melton.

Agencies assisting at the scene included Mercy Regional Ambulance, Concord, West McCracken and Lone Oak fire departments, McCracken County DES, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Harper’s Towing.

Authorities asked the public to keep the Bristoe family and members of the Concord Fire Department in their thoughts.
