Mayfield-Graves County Leadership Class explores local tourism assets

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — The Mayfield-Graves County Tourism Commission hosted Tourism Day this week for the Mayfield-Graves County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class, offering participants an in-depth look at the county’s attractions and opportunities.
The daylong program included stops at Purchase Players, Whippoorwill Manor, St. Jerome School and Museum, and Fancy Farm Vineyard and Winery. Participants also toured Cartwright Grove, Maplewood Cemetery and the Hampton Inn.
Tourism Director Jennifer Beck Walker led the event, which highlighted the role of local destinations in strengthening the community’s economy and cultural identity.
Organizers said the annual program is designed to connect emerging leaders with the county’s tourism industry while showcasing the variety of experiences available to visitors and residents alike.
