Firefighters battle tobacco barn fire in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Calloway County Fire-Rescue crews responded Saturday afternoon to a fully involved tobacco barn fire near the 500 block of Kirksey Road, between the Kirksey and Stella communities.

Officials said multiple trucks and firefighters were on scene working to contain and extinguish the blaze.

Motorists are asked to use caution in the area as firefighters are shuttling water from a nearby hydrant at another location.
