Multiple agencies respond to first-alarm fire at pizzeria

PATTONVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Pattonville Fire Protection District crews responded early Friday to a first-alarm structure fire, reporting heavy fire and smoke on arrival at 4824 Pattonville.

Multiple Pattonville units, along with the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District and Robertson Fire Protection District, deployed several handlines and initiated an offensive attack to bring the fire under control. Paramedic/firefighters remained on scene working to safeguard residents and personnel.

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area to allow crews to operate safely.

Pattonville Fire Protection District thanked STL First Responder Canteen and the Maryland Heights Police Department for their assistance at the scene.
