City of Marion, KY issues mandatory plan for water conservation

MARION, Ky. (KBSI) – The city of Marion, Ky, has issued a mandatory plan for water conservation.

The goal is to minimize the effect of a water shortage.

City leaders are asking citizens to not spray water on streets, sidewalks, patios, and decks.

And citizens are to water only on designated days.

Those with even numbered addresses will be allowed the second and fourth Tuesday, and those with odd numbered addresses, the first and third Friday.
